A Call to Rebuild God’s House

A Call to Rebuild God’s House

In this season God is highlighting the book of Haggai. Many prophetic voices are echoing the word of the Lord: It’s time for the rebuilding of God’s house.

BUT! Do we really understand how to apply this word in our day? I have heard many prophetic voices speak this word accurately, but then misapply what it means: They apply it to some man-made agenda or false teaching or the misapplied “new thing” prophecy.

The time has come, not only for this word, but also to align the prophetic voices to the Lord’s true intent for this word! What does it mean to rebuild His house? We cannot simply apply it to any agenda that we believe the Lord might have for this season. We have to look at the definitions, analogies and teachings the New Testament gives for His house and then apply it correctly to these teachings.

“Thus speaks the Lord of hosts, saying: ‘This people say,
“The time has not come, the time that the Lord’s house should be built.”

Then the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying, “Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?”  Now therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways!

 “You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough;
You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm;
And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.”

Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways! Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the Lord.

“You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says the Lord of hosts. “Because of My house that is in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own house.  Therefore, the heavens above you withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit. For I called for a drought on the land and the mountains, on the grain and the new wine and the oil, on whatever the ground brings forth, on men and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.”

~ Haggai 1: 2-9

Consider Your Ways
God’s house, His true New Testament church made up of living stones, lies in ruins. He is calling us to the work of rebuilding it. The complaint in the book of Haggai was that everyone was dwelling in their own panelled houses, while God’s house lay in ruins.

We must consider our ways. To consider something means to deeply think about it. To contemplate it. We need to consider and ask ourselves: “Are we really busy building God’s house the way He wants it? Or, are we building our own little kingdoms, what we call God’s house, built on man-made systems and institutions? “

We will touch on some of the elements of God’s true New Testament house in the last section of this blog.

The Funnel of Cleansing and Purification
A few months ago, I had a dream about the book of Haggai. In the dream, I looked at a piece of paper. The paper was torn on both sides. It was wide at the top and narrowed towards the bottom. It looked like a funnel.

The Words Haggai 2 was written in bold on the piece of paper three times: top, middle and towards the bottom. Promises of God were written underneath each heading.

When I read Haggai 2 after I woke up, I discovered the following promise:

“The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts.
‘And in this place, I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

~ Haggai 2:9

If we are willing to obey and rebuild God’s house the way He wants it, He promises that He will fill His house with His glory and that His peace will rest on it.

The context of this verse is very important. Before God will fill this latter temple with His glory, He will first shake the nations:

“For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts.

~ Haggai 2:6-7

Before the glory falls, everything will be shaken.  This is where the FUNNEL features. The promises of God take us through the funnel. A funnel is wide at the top and extremely narrow at the bottom. In order to rebuild God’s house, we need to go through this funnel.

This speaks of a process of deep cleansing and purification. The narrow end of the funnel is PURE TRUTH where all human add-ons and mixed seed will be filtered out. God wants us to build His house exactly according to HIS blueprint and design. Before He can entrust anyone with this major responsibility, He will take us through the funnel (and the shaking), ensuring that the pure truth is cultivated in us first.

Going through the Funnel
Some time ago I had a very intense experience. I was busy praying for God’s house to be rebuilt and restored. The next moment I felt as if I was situated at the bottom end of a funnel, at the very narrow part. As I wanted to go through, I sensed the presence of an angelic messenger standing at the entrance of the last part of the funnel. The message I received was that I could not go through.

I asked God why I was not allowed to enter. In a vision, I saw that I had baggage. I saw a very small backpack on my back. It was preventing me from going through.

I wanted to take it off but I wasn’t able to. God showed me that it represented mindsets that I carried. These mindsets had roots and I saw that the roots of the backpack had grown into my brain.

Jesus then said to me that He is the only one able to remove it. I asked Him what these mindsets were and I repented as He revealed them to me.

After repenting, I felt my body being pushed through this narrow space. This went on for some time. Then I felt how I was pushed out on the other side! It felt like I was birthed into something new!

This message of the funnel is an extremely important one. As long as we hold on to ungodly and inaccurate mindsets and concepts, God will not allow us to be part of this promise: The promise of the rebuilding of His house and of being partakers of the glory of His latter house.

These mindsets can be so subtle that we are not even aware of them. Like the small backpack on my back that barely carried any weight. These are the very mindsets that will stop God’s house from being built among us and in the way He wants it.

We need to throw everything off and allow Him to take us through the narrow end of the funnel and cultivate PURE TRUTH in us. Do you have an open and teachable spirit?

Laying the Proper Foundation
The most crucial part of any building is the foundation. If the foundation is faulty in any way, it will cause much trouble and instability in the future.

“For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

 ~ 1 Cor 3: 9-11

A while ago God showed me in a vision that He is now busy laying proper foundations in the process of rebuilding His house. I saw each layer being laid with much care.

While the Ekklesia that I’m a part of were interceding for the laying of the foundations, we pondered on the physical process of how a foundation is laid.

Modern foundations are made out of concrete produced by a mixture of gravel and cement. The size of the gravel stones determines the strength of the concrete. Smaller gravel stones form stronger concrete. Gravel stones have to be under a certain size for them to be used in the foundation. If the stones are too large they will be thrown back into the crusher and crushed to the correct size.

The Lord revealed to us that this ties in with the concept of going through the funnel. If God is taking us through the funnel, to lay a proper foundation for His house, our self-regard needs to be the correct size.

A rock that is too large will not be able to fit through the funnel. God will take us back to the crusher to crush our pride so that we will be useful to Him in what He has called us to do. The crusher is the process of repentance through laying down fleshly mindsets and pride.

Back to the analogy: stones that are too hard to be crushed are thrown out. If we refuse to be crushed, God will not allow us to be part of the building of His house.

While we were praying, God also showed me a game of chess, in checkmate. I saw His Hands removing the pieces that are playing their own game and are not willing to submit and yield to His game plan.

We received confirmation of this word the following day, while we were at a conference. A man stood up and said that he heard a loud noise. The noise was the sound of foundations being laid. He saw people laying foundations and Jesus walking up to them with the building plans and asking them whether they were building according to His plans. This was such an amazing confirmation to us!

Elements of the Latter House
Please note that the following is only a summary of the main points. My husband plans to cover this topic in more detail in his booklet “The Household of GOD – Exploring the Vision of the Future City Church”, due to be released in March 2023. Make sure you are subscribed to this blog to not miss it.

  • The New Testament City Church did not divide into denominations nor separated themselves by different names. It was simply known as ‘THE CHURCH’ in that city (1 Co 1:2, 2 Co 1:1, 1 Th 1:1, Rev 1:11). The house that the Lord is rebuilding for Himself is a united household with believers who refuse to be known by any name other than followers of Jesus Christ – the Church.

  • They Gathered In Homes throughout the city (Rom 16:5, 1 Co 16:19, Col 4:15, Phm 1:2) and on occasion got together for bigger gatherings. But, all these smaller gatherings formed a greater network that functioned together for the benefit of all. They did not just see themselves as one body in the city theoretically. They shared resources and responsibilities practically in their daily lives (Act 6:1-3). They had shared elders, deacons and five-fold ministry equippers.

  • Keeping the Unity of the Spirit Despite Differences was part of their value system. They allowed for differences of conviction and opinion on non-essential matters (Rom 14). They did not force their convictions on others nor made it a requirement for fellowship. Jesus Christ through the bond of the Holy Spirit was their basis of unity, not any doctrine or institution. They received one another, just as Christ received them (Rom 15:7).

  • Thriving Under Persecution and Economic Instability was one of their distinguishing traits. It was an underground movement without easily recognisable buildings, large gatherings or easily restricted leadership structures. They also took care of one another economically and functioned under God’s supernatural love economy that was unaffected by earthly events (1 Cor 16:1–4; 2 Cor 8:1–9:15; Rom 15:14–32).

The accusation God brought against His people in Haggai 1: 2-9 was that they were spending their resources on themselves,  instead of using it to build His house. In the New Testament, this means that we should invest our resources in helping to disciple believers, to spread the gospel and to develop and build God’s Kingdom on earth and not to build our own little empires.

  • They Gathered in Open Participatory Meetings were each member was a functioning priest that actively shared what they received without asking anyone’s permission (1 Cor 14:26-40). They were equipped by true Apostles to function under the direct headship of Christ by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

There is much more that could be said on this topic, but I believe this gives a good overview. Remember to subscribe to be notified when the booklet is released.

I can almost hear some people say to themselves: “We know these things”. The question is not how well we know these things, but whether we are living them daily.

May the Lord rebuild His house that lies in ruins!

Surender Completely, Or Miss Out! – The Lehakwe Bridge

Surender Completely, Or Miss Out! – The Lehakwe Bridge

I had this strange and profound dream in 2018. It’s about this bridge called ‘The Lehakwe Bridge’. I strongly feel that this dream is very important for the body of Christ for the season we are in right now.

May our Lord Jesus Christ impart courage to you as you read this, so you can take the step of faith needed to enter into His fulness in this season.

In the dream, me and friends of mine were sitting at a restaurant enjoying a meal together. There were people around us eating, partying and dancing. We could feel the worldly atmosphere.

Then a man asked me to dance. I had an engagement ring on which was given to me by this man. I looked at the ring. It had a huge flashy diamond on it, but it was clearly fake.

While dancing with him I felt uneasy and decided to leave. Me and my friends took a long footpath through the woods. It was dark outside.

We were joined by a group of men. They were friendly but I sensed that they were trying to hook up with us.

We then entered a city. It was still dark and the air was thick with smoke. Some buildings caught fire and started burning down. I sensed a heaviness in the spirit realm and knew the end was drawing near.

The scene transitioned and I was now alone.  I felt an urgency to leave and walked in the direction of the Lesotho mountains. The Country of Lesotho is also known as the mountain kingdom.

As I approached the mountains there was a bridge. This bridge had to be “crossed” to enter the mountain kingdom. As I looked, I saw that this bridge wasn’t a bridge at all. It was a free fall! I stared at it in shock. It was extremely high and it was humanly impossible to “cross”.

A small group of people were standing at my right and I asked them if it is possible to cross this bridge. I could not comprehend how anyone could cross this. With confidence, they answered that it is possible and that there are people who have done it.

Just then a man on a motorcycle came and without hesitation went down the vertical free fall with his bike. I stared in amazement as he fell down and then at the bottom supernaturally got back on his bike where a transition formed at the bottom like a half-pipe so he could ride out onto the road.

As I looked at this, I felt that the risk was too great and I decided to go back to the city. When I got back it looked even worse than before. I came to this information desk where one of the men that accompanied us on the footpath sat.

I asked him if there was another way to go to the mountains. This time he was unfriendly and irritated because I wanted to leave. He told me there is another road but that the drive by car is an hour longer.

As I wanted to leave the city again it was closed off by booms. I had to beg the man at the information desk to open the boom for me and allow me to exit.

When I got back to the bridge, I knew I had only one option: I have to jump!

As I woke up, I repeatedly said aloud, “The Lehakwe bridge, the Lehakwe bridge, the Lehakwe bridge.”

Interpretation
The meal at the worldly restaurant serves as a warning for believers not to eat at the table of the world and to not seek satisfaction from worldly things.

A common theme in many of my dreams is false betrothals. In these dreams I symbolise the bride of Christ and the men in some of these dreams symbolise the spirit of this world sent to mesmerise us and to draw us into worldly, temporarily satisfactions.

As long as we indulge in worldly things we cannot walk in our destinies and be prepared as the spotless bride of Christ.

Just like the engagement ring was fake, the world cannot offer us anything valuable. We should not dance according to the beat of this world; we are called to dance with our bridegroom and our hearts must be in rhythm according to His desires.

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.”

~ 1 John 2:16-17

The long walk at night in the woods speaks of the worldly mindsets that we need to exit. Trees in dreams often symbolise thought branches, strongholds and mindsets that need to be overcome. Worldly mindsets are always shrouded in darkness. The worldly people that share these mindsets don’t have pure motives. They seem like they are our friends, but when we want out, we find out that they are not really friends. They are just in it for selfish gain, like the group of men in the dream.

The city that started burning down symbolises the end of the age that is drawing near. As the day approaches, the Lord is calling His remnant people to His mountain Kingdom. This symbolises Mount Zion. This is His sacred place where His bride will rule with Him. To rule with Jesus requires for us to be fully surrendered and have a set-apart life.

Many are now being called by God to exit the worldly systems completely. He is calling the pioneers to discover His new godly systems according to His blueprints and patterns. These patterns and blueprints will be crucial for the times ahead. Our Father is busy revealing it on His mountain Kingdom. But only to those fully yielded ones that He can trust with His Kingdom assignments.

The only way to cross over to the mountain Kingdom is by complete surrender. This leap of faith will feel like a free fall, impossible for the human mind to comprehend! But with God it’s possible!

The word Lehakwe means precious gem or pearl in Sesotho. The crossing of the bridge will form pearl or precious stone in us as we completely surrender to His ways and will for our lives.

A pearl is formed when an oyster gets wounded or irritated by a foreign object like sand or a parasite. It then secretes a substance to protect itself. This is what forms the pearl. Precious stones on the other hand get formed by immense pressure under the earth.

Likewise, we will have to go through discomfort, pressure and suffering to enter His mountain Kingdom (2Co 4:17). The leap of faith and trust it will take for us to go through with what God expects of us in this season will look and feel like a complete freefall. It will require total surrender. What comes out on the other side however will be precious, unlike the fake diamond the world has to offer.

We need to take heed when standing before this bridge (this choice), to not lose heart and turn back to the city (the ways and systems of the world). Once we turn back it might be more difficult to return to the bridge, as our previous “friends” will turn into our enemies – making it difficult for us to leave.

There is another way, but it will take longer, meaning you stand the risk of missing God’s timing. When I shared this dream at a SPIRIT-GYM session a sister in the Lord said that as I shared, she saw lots of traffic jams on this road. Lots of people are taking the “more comfortable” option and in the end, it will cause spiritual delays for them. These people risk missing their destinies completely.

The importance of Timing and Alignment
Timing in God’s Kingdom is of utmost importance. As Paul said in Ephesians 5:15-16:

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

God taught me precious principles of timing in 2018 when He asked me to resign from my job. God gave me a specific time when to resign.

I was tempted to stay two months longer to receive my birthday bonus. That night I had two dreams: One indicating that our provision from the Lord will be cut off. Another where I climbed off at the wrong stop and there was a huge storm. That morning as I woke up, I repented as I realised the urgency of the matter.

God is a God of grace, but He is also a God of order and we need to obey His timing for things.  Looking back at that incident we (me and my husband) can now clearly see God’s wisdom. We are forever grateful that He lovingly warned us not to be disobedient to His Kingdom timing. We would have potentially landed in a lot of trouble. His timing was truly perfect.

What is Your Lehakwe Bridge?
The crossing of the Lehakwe bridge will mean different things for different people. For many, it will mean leaving behind some form of worldly security in order to follow the Lord.

I pray that He will reveal what this means to you personally and in which areas of your lives this applies.

I want to urge you to take this bold leap of faith, instead of turning back to the ways of the world or choosing the more comfortable option.

May we all jump into our destinies!

Breaking the Silence! Part 1 – The Greater Separation

Breaking the Silence! Part 1 – The Greater Separation

We are in a new season and it is time to break the silence! In my 13 years of walking with the Lord, I have never experienced such a significant shift in the spirit like I am sensing right now. This really excites me – but I am fully aware that this MAJOR shift brings a great deal of responsibility too.

The Lord has blessed our family with a beautiful baby girl (which is also the reason why there hasn’t been a blog post in a while). When I was about 35 weeks pregnant the Lord instructed me to do a series of blog posts with the title – Breaking the Silence – once the baby is born.

Her birth has a significant story that ties into the shift in the spiritual realm and the breaking of the silence. If the Lord wills, I will share this amazing testimony sometime later. A few days after her birth I received a significant dream, which brings me to this first post of the Breaking the Silence Series.

Obtaining Good Victory!
In the dream, there was a bunch of students at a school. A teacher, with the name Eunice, gave us an assignment: we all had to write down what we think hell is like. We had a small piece of paper, so we could only write a short description of how we think hell should be defined. I wrote the following sentence down: “It is in this place where you will find out what you have wasted your life on.”

The dream pierced me like a sword and gave me chills all over! The answer I wrote is not really the type of thing that I would ever come up with by myself. I believe this was an answer from the Lord. The essence of the dream is about redefining eternal damnation. We are to be schooled on this topic. It is not just a place of eternal torment but even more so a place of REGRET.

Eunice means good victory. We are meant to obtain good victory over hell, or in other words, here on earth – we need to be victorious over sin, death, and the lusts of the flesh. Eunice, symbolizing good victory, is instructing us to REDEFINE eternal damnation, which implies that we also need a redefinition of what a victorious life really looks like.

While praying over the interpretation of the dream the Lord dropped the following scripture into my Spirit:

When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”

~ Colossians 3:4 -7

This scripture really hit it home for me. Who will appear with him in glory? You will only appear with Him and share in His glory IF CHRIST WAS YOUR LIFE!

We must ask ourselves: what does it really mean for Christ to be our life? This scripture brings a separation between the lukewarm Christian and those completely sold out for Christ and His purposes.

The lukewarm Christians are busy wasting their lives on other things, rather than “wasting” (or spending rather) it on Christ. Their time, resources and desires are being poured into the world and the systems of this world.

The ‘standards’ of Christianity has been dropped, way below the bar of what Jesus Himself set. We have become so lukewarm and blinded because we lay in bed with the world and as a result, have fallen into a deep slumber.

The trumpet is blowing to awaken us! Do not harden your heart if you hear His voice (Heb 3:15)!

I just want to clarify. I’m not implying that if you are still struggling in some area of your walk with the Lord that you are going to hell. No! But you will have invested some of your life, time, and resources into the pit of hell and WILL have suffered great loss.

“For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.”

~ Matthew 16:25 (NKJV)

“If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.”

~ 1 Corinthians 3:15 (NKJV)

Do not dwell by the Dark Stream
Within the past two years, I had a series of dreams that I would call ‘False Betrothals’. The essence of all these dreams is pretty much the same. It brings a stern warning – guard against false betrothals!

The enemy is alluring us into a snare. This snare looks very attractive and appealing. The Word of God warns us that Satan reveals himself as an angel of light. In all these dreams, two men were trying to win my hand. The one representing the Lord Jesus, our true and eternal Bridegroom, the other one representing the world.

Although there is much to these dreams, I am going to share only one of the dreams. In this particular dream, I was told to marry a certain man. My heart felt troubled because I knew he is not to be my husband. I had to choose between him and the other man whom I knew was the chosen one (of course symbolising the Lord Jesus).

When I woke up, I looked up the meaning of the man’s name and the meaning was dark stream. It can also be translated as dark river or dwelling by the dark river or stream.

God is telling us: DO NOT DWELL BY THE DARK STREAM! DO NOT DRINK FROM THE DARK RIVER. SEPARATE YOURSELVES FROM THE DARK WATERS OF THIS WORLD.

The first thing the Spirit made clear to me is the fact that this dark stream is NOT obvious sin! This handsome man is presenting himself to us not in the form of some sort of horrible sinful lifestyle because if he was, most Christians would run away as fast as they could.

No, he is presenting himself to us in the form of good things, innocent things, ‘things’ that most people do. So why then are these ‘things’ so wrong?  You see because if you give your hand to these things, you will end up wasting your life on them. Scripture is quite clear about this, and this is exactly where we have dropped the bar:

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is not of the Father but is of the world.  And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.”

~ 1 John 2:15 – 17

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.”

~ 1 John 5: 19 – 21

We need to ask ourselves some tough questions: are we guilty of loving the world and the things of the world too much? Are we mixing the true gospel of Scripture with the worldly version called the prosperity gospel?

What are we wasting our lives on? If it is not on Jesus, we will regret it in the end. Maybe not losing our salvation, but surely losing our inheritance (1 Co 3:15)!

Honestly, the Lord did not allow me to type this word and sent it out, before first showing me where I am still dwelling by the dark stream and leading me to repent.

The TRUTH IS: any form of worldly system that I am still partaking in, and dwelling by, is according to the Word of God under the sway of the wicked one. As long as I am wrapped up, absorbed and preoccupied in that system I am dwelling by the dark stream. The more we dwell by this stream and drink of its water, the more we fall into a deep slumber.

It is essential to distinguish what it means that “we are in this world but not of this world”. This means that while we still have to function in and make use of the things and systems of this world, we do not rely on and get entrapped by it. As Paul said:

“and those who use the world as though they did not make full use of it. For this world in its current form is passing away.”

~ 1 Corinthians 7:31 (CSB)

“those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them. For this world in its present form is passing away.”

~ 1 Corinthians 7:31 (NIV)

We are so easily deceived in this aspect. May the Lord reveal this to you.

Remnant, beloved bride of Christ – I implore you – stop wasting your lives on the things of this world, stop dwelling by the dark stream! Separate yourselves unto your Bridegroom, for he is enthralled by Your beauty.

IT IS TIME FOR THE GREATER SEPARATION… IT IS TIME TO BREAK THE SILENCE!

Marked for Harvest

Marked for Harvest

I am excited to release this word since harvest is one of the topics that the Lord has laid strongly on my heart. A lot of prophetic words have been released recently about harvest – which shows that harvest time is truly drawing near!

A while ago, I was watching an episode of the series called Chosen. (If you haven’t watched this, make an effort to do so – it is truly amazing!) Our six-year-old boy absolutely loves it and I was ‘obligated’ to watch it with him again, probably for the 4th time! While watching I suddenly saw a brief vision of angels going out and marking people on their foreheads. The words “Book of Remembrance” then dropped into my spirit. I instantly knew that these angelic hosts have been sent out to mark the ones that need to be gathered for harvest.

The Book of Remembrance
Earlier this year I had an interesting experience. I was sitting on my bed busy praying but I become quite tired and almost fell asleep. My mind was drifting off but My spirit kept praying over and over again, “remember us.” It became quite earnest as the Spirit kept praying these words through me that we should be remembered. All of a sudden, I was wide awake and I had no idea what it meant. All I knew what to do was to pray an earnest prayer that the Lord will not forget me, my husband, and our two boys. I felt to specifically call our names before the Lord so that we will be remembered.

I still didn’t understand what this meant so I stood up and went about my day. A while later I felt prompted to check my emails, something I must admit I don’t do so often. I received a newsletter from another ministry and when I opened it, great was my surprise when I saw the following scripture:

“Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another,
And the Lord listened and heard them;
So a book of remembrance was written before Him
For those who fear the Lord
And who meditate on His name.

“They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts,
“On the day that I make them My jewels
And I will spare them
As a man spares his own son who serves him.”

 ~ Malachi 3:16-17

God was so faithful to show me exactly what the Spirit was praying through me! I was in awe and realised the importance of praying that prayer. That we will be counted amongst those who fear the Lord and meditate on His name. There is a beautiful promise in this scripture, that God will spare those whose names are written in the book of remembrance.

Call the Harvest in!
There have been many seasons in my life that I have fervently prayed for loved ones and unbelievers to come into the Kingdom of God. At times we get weary to keep praying for them (as I also believe the Lord lead us into seasons praying for the lost) but after I saw the vision, I feel the Lord is stirring my spirit to call them in as part of the harvest! Now is the time to endure in steadfast prayer for the harvest to come in.

The names of the faithful remnant are written down in the book of remembrance. Because of this, God will also remember our prayers. He will not forget how we laboured in prayer for loved ones and other precious souls. Let us continue to call their names before the Lord.

Let us inquire of Him to also remember them, that they too, may be spared and become part of the Fathers’ jewels. I believe now is the time to endure as we fill the bowls of incense with our prayers (Rev 5:8). Although the battle is fierce over every lost soul, and we get tired and weary at times, let us persevere in prayer. The prayers that we sow into the Kingdom of God will surely bring forth a harvest!

“Those who sow in tears
Shall reap in joy.
He who continually goes forth weeping,
Bearing seed for sowing,
Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,
Bringing his sheaves with him.”

~ Psalm 126:5-6

A Great Door is Opening for the Gospel of the Kingdom to be Preached
There has been a season of harvesting the harvesters. I believe God has been preparing, and still is, harvesters, to gather the coming harvest. There has been a definite shift in the spirit in the month of September. One of the verses the Lord is highlighting in this hour is:

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force”

~ Matthew 11:12

“Kingdom Push!”
The words “kingdom push!” are being spoken by the Spirit presently. Now is the time to push forward even more and to advance the ground of victory that has already been attained! It is also like a woman in labour that has to: PUSH!!! The promise is about to be birthed!

Paul states in 1 Corinthians 16:9 that there was a great and effective door that opened to him, but there were also many adversaries. The enemy will not hold back in this hour for he knows he has little time. Let us stand against his wiles and plans, and take the Kingdom of God by force!

The Lord reminded me of a dream I had more than 10 years ago and I now strongly feel that we are entering into this season. In the dream, we were on a beach in Cape Town and suddenly a massive wave was coming towards us and we started running away. In the next scene of the dream, I was back in Bloemfontein (a city in South Africa far from the coast) and the streets were flooded with water, about ankle deep. I knew that the water came all the way from the wave that hit Cape Town.

I quickly went home to fetch my running shoes as I knew we have to go and preach the gospel in the streets.

The wave symbolizes the wave of revival that is coming to this nation, it will start in Cape Town and will spread across South Africa, Africa, and eventually the whole world. We need to put on the shoes of preparation of the gospel of peace (Eph 6:15). As this wave hits a door will open to preach the gospel of the kingdom and we need to be prepared for it.

Pay the Price.
The Lord showed me in another recent dream that running shoes are being tailor-made for those who order it. The shoes were quite expensive in the dream and I could not think that one would pay so much for a pair of shoes! The Lord revealed to me that these shoes come with a price tag – it is definitely not for those not willing to pay the price. It will surely cost us our comfort and the laying down of our lives.

“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.”

~ 2 Chronicles 16:9

Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!

~ John 4:35

Are you willing to be part of the harvesters?

This is the Qualifying Year! (Radical Obedience Part 2)

This is the Qualifying Year! (Radical Obedience Part 2)

Earlier this year I had a few dreams, all with the same theme. The Lord was showing me that this is the qualifying year. We are running to qualify for the next phase of the race.

In one dream me and other members of my family had to run a 12meter race. At the 7meter mark, there was a big 7m sign. My father was sitting at this 7m mark and he was timing us.

We were not running against one another but were individually timed. In the dream I was wondering why my father sat on the half-way marker, and not at the 12m finish line. The person with the fastest time received R350 prize money.

In the next scene, the track was overcrowded with athletes all over the place. Looking with natural eyes it looked chaotic. We were running a medley relay. In a medley relay, the first athlete runs 100m, the second one runs 200m, the third 300m, and the last athlete runs 400m (a full cycle).

I struggled to see my teammates and realized I was standing at the wrong place. I then had to run an extra 100m to get to the right place to receive the baton.

Interpretation
The 12m race is symbolic of this year. Each meter symbolizes a month of the year. According to the Biblical Hebrew calendar, we are currently in the month of Elul (Neh 6:15), which is the 6th month of the year (around August–September).

Many prophecies have gone out that there is going to be a great shift in the month of September. September also falls in the month of Ethanim (1Ki 8:2) the 7th month of the year (September–October). Note: To avoid Confusion. This is according to the Hebrew names of the months in the Bible and not according to the modern Jewish names that came in later through the corruption the Babylonian captivity.

The 7meter mark symbolizes God’s ‘halfway’ mark that we need to cross over before a certain time in order qualify to finish the rest of the race. Much like the famous Comrades Marathon where the athletes need to pass the half-way mark before a certain time to qualify to continue running the remainder of the race.

As the Lord revealed to me and my husband: the 7m marker is the 7th month on God’s calendar. It starts on 19 September this year.

My father in the dream symbolizes Father God. He is timing the runners – the family of God.  He sits at the 7m mark to evaluate our progress.

Since the 7m marker is symbolic of a fixed date in time (the 7th month), we being timed by the Father actually has to do with how well we are redeeming the time. In other words, are we making the best use of our time? Are we making good progress spiritually with the time we have?

The ones with the fastest time will win the prize money. Meaning, the ones who made the most of their time will be rewarded accordingly.

We are not running against one another. We are running against ourselves to redeem our own personal time (make the best use of our own personal opportunities – Eph 5:15-20; Gal 6:9-11).

This shows that we are not measured against one another, but that each of us has our own unique pace. “But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift (Eph 4:7).”

The question is: Are you doing the best with what you have been given before we reach God’s 7m mark?

The R350 prize money is given to those who cross the 7m marker in their best possible personal time. The ones that did their own personal best with what they have been given.

The money in Scripture refers to talents. Talents have to do with responsibility and the grace to carry out that responsibility (as we see in all the parables that have to do with talents).

We are the generation that runs the final part and full cycle of this medley relay race. It will be a time of great chaos upon the earth (symbolised by the overcrowded race track with athletes all over the place).

We need to be in the Spirit’s rhythm and trust Him, because we will not always be able to see our teammates. It is important to position ourselves correctly, according to His patterns and ways otherwise we will run further than we need to, unnecessarily exhausting ourselves in the process.

The Golden Gate Opens at the 7m Mark
The Lord He showed me a Golden Gate. This gate was situated on top of a mountain. I received this scripture:

“Now it shall come to pass in the latter days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established on top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and peoples shall flow to it. Many nations shall come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion the law shall go forth and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”

~Micah 4:1-2

I saw the golden gate is like a window in the spirit, the ones who pass through the gate enter GOD’S WINDOW. A couple of years ago I had a dream where I was told to go on holiday with Wisdom to a place called God’s Window (the name of a literal place in South Africa.)

The dream meant that the Spirit of Wisdom wants to take me to God’s window: HIS PERSPECTIVE. The way God sees things.

We can only see what God is seeing when we go higher, for God’s ways are higher than our ways (Isa 55:9).

The next phase of the race is this prophetic window that is opening. The ones that have crossed over the 7m mark making the best of their time will qualify to pass through the golden gate.

On this mountain (Mount Zion) God will teach us His ways and we shall learn to walk in His paths. I saw that the mountain is a place of instruction, where maps (blueprints) were handed out by the angels, and strategies were being released.

Specific orders were given to those who passed through the gate. These orders are crucial instructions for the change in TIMES that we are moving into.

I feel the Spirit is urging us to exert ourselves vigorously so that we can cross the 7m marker on the 19th of September (Ethanim).

Remember that this marker will look different for everyone. We are not compared to one another by our Father, He knows our abilities and challenges, and evaluates us according to the measure that was given to us.

Each of us must seek the Lord and ask Him to reveal to us what this marker represents for us personally, since each of our journeys looks different.

The Road of Humility
The ones who walk in radical obedience will be able to enter through this golden gate. The road that leads to the top of Mount Zion is one of complete surrender and obedience.

Not many will find it because it is an uncomfortable road to walk on. This road is marked by humility and serving, walking in the footsteps of Jesus. “He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” ~ 1 John 2:6. The humble that does not seek their own glory or fame will be found on this road.

God will only reveal His strategies and instructions to the obedient ones, the empty vessels. The bond slaves that have given themselves WILLINGLY to Him and to His purpose.

While I saw this vision, I had a strong sense that our talents are being weighed, those who have been faithful with little will be entrusted with more (Luk 16:10). They have proven themselves as good stewards and God will increase their capacity and appoint them over more.

I once had a dream where I picked up an envelope with a significant amount of money in. I was told the woman “lost” the envelope on her way to the bank, and that it was now given to me and my husband.

When I prayed about the dream the Lord showed me that this was someone’s “talent” but because she didn’t steward it, it was given away. I came to realise the importance of stewarding what has been given to us, lest we forfeit it.

May God grant us the wisdom and the grace to steward what He has given us, that we may walk worthy of the calling with which we have been called (Eph 4:1).

I also believe that God, in His faithfulness and mercy will restore to us what we have not been stewarding well if we repent and start to walk on this road of obedience.

His Strength is Made Perfect in Our Weakness
It is important not to interpret this word in a legalistic way. Obedience is not about performance. Obedience is about presenting ourselves to the Lord as WILLING VESSELS in spite of our weaknesses. Knowing that His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses (2 Cor 12:9).

In essence, obedience is about presenting ourselves with endurance. If we keep presenting ourselves, He can work with us. He will finish what He has started, provided that we keep presenting ourselves, and giving Him something to work with.

This is why God could do such a mighty work through the apostle Paul because he knew how weak he was, claiming himself to be the least of all the apostles, and the worst of all sinners.

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us”

~ 2 Corinthians 4:7

I keep hearing the Spirit say: “Present yourself to Me willingly”. The Lord is not after a perfect people, He is after a willing people. Imperfect and weak people that give themselves unto Him so that His purposes can be fulfilled.

“Your people will offer themselves willingly [to participate in Your battle] in the day of Your power; In the splendor of holiness, from the womb of the dawn, Your young men are to You as the dew.”

~ Psalm 110:3 AMP

BRIDE OF CHRIST, TAKE HEART!!!

You are in training.

Let’s press forward to cross the 7m mark so that God’s purposes can be fulfilled in us.

GIVE YOURSELF TO HIM WILLINGLY!

The Key of Greater Dependence (Part 2)

Be sure to read Part 1 before you continue reading Part 2…

Elijah Arise!
A few days after I had this dream (See Part 1) the Lord woke me up one morning with a clear word in my spirit: “Like Elijah you need to be fed twice”. I immediately understood that God is instructing us to ask Him to feed us a double portion for the coming second storm.

In 1 Kings 19:1-8 we read the story of how Elijah fled from Jezebel. This was after she threatened to kill Him in the same way he killed the prophets of Baal.

After he left his servant in Beersheba, we read:

“But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, Lord, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!” Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise and eat.” Then he looked, and there by his head was a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank, and lay down again. And the angel of the Lord came back the second time, and touched him, and said, “Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you.” So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God.”

~ 1 Kings 19:4-8

ARISE AND EAT, THE JOURNEY IS TOO GREAT FOR YOU
During this time of transition, Elijah’s greatest enemy was fear and depression. Fear paralysed him as he lay under the broom tree. He wanted to die. He believed that he had failed God.

God saw Elijah at his weakest point and sent him food, supernaturally prepared by an angel.

He had to be fed twice, for the forty-day journey into the wilderness was too great for him. Forty days symbolises a time of testing. Elijah was in great dependence upon the Lord to sustain him for this journey.

We should not allow fear and fear of failure to overtake us in these TIMES of transition and testing. God is making a way out – He will send supernatural provision our way. You should ask God to feed you twice!

We need a DOUBLE PORTION of revelation in this hour. We need to know who our God is, what He has promised and what He is able to do for us! We need to prayerfully study and meditate on Scripture! Now is the time to eat God’s Word!

Discerning His Whispers
After the 40-day journey, Elijah had an encounter with God. God revealed Himself to Elijah in a still small voice (1 Ki 19: 11 -13).

After a great and strong wind, an earthquake and fire, God chose a gentle whisper to reveal himself to Elijah. God will take us through a time of testing to bring us to a place of stillness and draw us deeper into His presence.

The purpose of the testing is to teach us to hear His whispers. Discerning His whispers is crucial for the times we are moving in as mass deception will be released upon the earth. Our ears need to be circumcised to hear His whispers amid the coming turmoil and deception.

Time of Testing Followed by New Assignments
Elijah was catapulted into new assignments after he endured the forty-day journey. After the coming second storm, God will release greater authority upon His remnant bride.

This authority will only be gained by learning greater dependence upon God. Strength and power will be gained through surrender.

Only those who are fed by and whose ears are circumcised by the Word of God will hear His whispers and walk in this greater authority for the new assignments.

“To whom shall I speak and give warning, That they may hear? Indeed their ear is uncircumcised, And they cannot give heed. Behold, the word of the Lord is a reproach to them; They have no delight in it.”

~ Jeremiah 6:10
